TraderSync Alternative: MyTradeEdge vs TraderSync for Futures

TraderSync is a full trading journal with trade replay, market replay and an AI assistant. If you trade futures, mostly on prop firm accounts, and you want a free plan rather than a 7-day trial, MyTradeEdge may be the better fit. Here is a futures-only comparison, with sources.

TraderSync details come from their official pricing page and their own integration pages, verified Oct 23, 2026. MyTradeEdge details are the features in the app on the same date. Prices change, so check both sites before you decide.

Where TraderSync is stronger

  • Replay. TraderSync includes trade replay and market replay, with tick precision from 1 minute on Pro to 250 ms on Elite. MyTradeEdge has no replay in the journal.
  • Futures fees and rollovers. Its Tradovate page describes net P&L after NFA and exchange fees and tracking across contract rollovers.
  • Breadth. TraderSync says it connects to over 700 brokers and platforms and covers stocks, options, forex and crypto as well as futures.

Where MyTradeEdge is a better fit

  • You want to start free. MyTradeEdge has a free plan with no time limit. TraderSync offers a 7-day trial, then paid plans from $29.95 per month, or $179.64 per year at the offer shown on Oct 23, 2026.
  • You trade through NinjaTrader. MyTradeEdge reads the NinjaTrader 8 trade export, which also covers Rithmic accounts you trade through NinjaTrader. It has no direct Rithmic or Tradovate sync.
  • You trade prop firm accounts. MyTradeEdge shows the daily loss limit, max drawdown and profit target you set for each prop account next to its trades. Drawdown is counted from the starting balance, not trailed, so check trailing rules against your firm. TraderSync's pricing page does not mention prop firm rules.
  • You want a journal, not a trading lab. If replay and simulation are features you will not use, MyTradeEdge Pro at $14.99 per month costs less than TraderSync Pro billed monthly.

When to stay with TraderSync

Stay with TraderSync if you replay your trades tick by tick or practise in its market replay. MyTradeEdge does not do that, and it is a real part of how many scalpers review. If you mainly log futures trades on prop accounts and want your limits and your discipline in front of you, the MyTradeEdge free plan is worth a test before your next renewal.
